Dear Friends and Colleagues,Welcome to the Asian-Oceanian Society for Intraoperative Neurophysiology (AOSIN). It is our great pleasure to have you visit our society and join us in advancing the field of intraoperative neuromonitoring across the Asian-Oceanian region and beyond. Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) continues to play an increasingly vital role in modern surgical care. As surgical techniques evolve and patient safety standards become more stringent worldwide, the application of IONM has expanded significantly across multiple disciplines. Beyond traditional neurosurgical and spinal procedures, IONM is now widely integrated into otolaryngological, orthopedic, peripheral nerve, cardiovascular, pediatric, and complex multidisciplinary surgeries. This growing scope highlights the importance of collaborative practice among surgeons, neurologists, neurophysiologists, anesthesiologists, technologists, and allied healthcare professionals.
AOSIN remains committed to fostering excellence in education, clinical practice, research, and international collaboration. Through scientific meetings, training programs, academic exchange, and partnerships with regional and global professional societies, we strive to promote high standards of patient safety and surgical outcomes. Our society also recognizes the importance of addressing evolving issues related to quality assurance, credentialing, technological innovation, and evidence-based practice in IONM.
We are deeply grateful for the continued support and participation of our members, colleagues, and partner organizations. Your dedication and collaboration are essential in shaping the future of intraoperative neuromonitoring and improving patient care throughout our region.
We warmly invite you to participate actively in our upcoming educational activities, scientific congresses, and collaborative initiatives. Together, we can continue to strengthen our professional community and advance the field of IONM for the benefit of patients worldwide.
Thank you for your interest and support. We look forward to working with you and welcoming you to future AOSIN events.
